One platform, both sides of the F&B flow

The modern F&B
operating platform
for Hong Kong restaurants

Synque is the modern F&B operating platform — POS, CRM, and restaurant order-management built as one, not three. Used by Angliss Hong Kong Food Service on the supplier side, and by HK F&B groups on the restaurant side. Both sides of the F&B flow, integrated at the product level.

Now bringing modern, software-first POS to the same network.

EVOLUTION

Hong Kong F&B has
outgrown traditional POS.

Most POS systems in Hong Kong were built for a different era — Windows terminals, heavy hardware, one vendor per outlet, reconciliation by spreadsheet. Modern F&B groups want something lighter: software that runs on the devices they already have, modules they can turn on as they grow, and payment partners they can actually choose.

That's what we built. And unlike QR-pay-at-table overlays bolted on top of existing POS, our experience is native — modern software lives inside the POS itself, with payments fully integrated.

The architecture

One platform, three modules.

Pick the modules you need. Add the others when you're ready.

Lead module

Point of Sale

Tablet-first POS for restaurants and groups. Fast service flows, KDS, table management, multi-outlet, Cantonese and English. Hardware where you need it, software-only where you don't. Beyond the counter, the same POS delivers modern service flows native to the platform — digital menus, scan-to-order and pay-at-table, and payment links for invoicing or remote orders. SoftPOS — turning a phone or tablet into a payment terminal — is supported through our Adyen integration. No third-party overlays, no separate apps. Unlike most POS products, ours connects directly to supplier catalogs through our order-management module — so inventory, menu costing, and supplier reordering happen inside the same platform, not across three different tools. Payments fully integrated with Adyen and Nuvei in production today, and Airwallex POS Payments integration on our near-term roadmap.

IN DEPTH

Our POS,
in depth.

A software-first approach to POS that gives groups the flexibility to grow without being anchored by legacy hardware.

Tablet POS interface

Tablet-first, hardware-optional

Runs on iPads and Android tablets. Add our countertop terminals, handhelds, KDS screens, and receipt printers where they earn their keep — but never forced.

Fast service flows

Table management, order modifiers, split bills, KDS routing. Built for the pace of HK F&B service.

Built for groups, not single shops

Multi-outlet, multi-brand hierarchy in the architecture, not as a bolt-on. Centralized menu management, role-based permissions, real-time consolidated reporting.

Cantonese and English throughout

Merchant interface, customer-facing screens, kitchen tickets, printed receipts.

Local team, local support

Hong Kong-based, with on-site installation and WhatsApp + hotline support — backed by an established field service operation serving HK merchants. See our support operations →

SERVICE FLOWS

Every way modern restaurants
take orders.

Counter service, table service, online, hybrid — all native to the POS, no overlays.

01

Pay at table

Guests scan a QR code, view the bill on their phone, split it, tip, and pay — without flagging down staff. Settled through the same POS, in the same ledger.

02

Scan to order

Guests order directly from their phone — view the digital menu, place the order, pay if pre-payment is enabled. Orders route to the same KDS as counter orders.

03

Digital menu

Always up to date with what's actually available, because the menu shares the same product database as the POS and supplier ordering. When stock runs low, items go unavailable automatically.

04

Payment links

Send a payment request by WhatsApp, email, or SMS — for deposits, catering invoices, off-premise orders, or anything not transacted at the counter.

05

SoftPOS support

Through our Adyen integration, the platform can accept payments on compatible phones and tablets — useful for events, pop-ups, mobile service, or peak overflow without dedicated hardware.

Same POS, same data, same ledger. Whichever way a guest orders, the restaurant sees one operating picture.

ONE PLATFORM

Where supplier catalogs
meet the POS.

Most POS products treat inventory as a closed system. Stock is what you counted last time you did inventory; restocking happens somewhere else — phone calls, separate apps, manual spreadsheets, end-of-week orders that arrive too late.

Our POS works differently. Because the same platform also runs supplier order-management, the POS knows about your suppliers' products, pricing, and availability — in real time.

01

Live menu costing

Recipe ingredients link to real supplier prices, so your menu margins update as supplier costs change.

02

Stock-aware reordering

When a key ingredient runs low, the POS surfaces it — and the reorder happens in the same platform, to the right supplier, with the right cut-off times.

03

Receiving reconciled to ordering

Deliveries arriving from suppliers reconcile directly against the orders placed, with discrepancies flagged automatically.

04

One operating picture

Sales, inventory, and supplier flow live in the same dataset. No exports, no copy-pasting, no separate “ops” tool.

Counter, KDS, tables.

Operating layer

Inventory & recipes

Live menu cost, low-stock signals.

Supply chain

Supplier ordering

Place reorders in the same platform.

This is what “one platform” actually means in practice. Not three products sharing a login — one operating layer where the front of house and the supply chain talk to each other.

End to end

Both sides of the F&B flow, one platform.

Most F&B software vendors operate on one side of the supply chain. We operate on both — and connect them at the product level, not the logo level.

Supplier side

Supplier (e.g. Angliss)

Distributors use our platform to receive orders from their HK restaurant customers. Thousands of orders flow through us every week.

Restaurant side

Restaurant / F&B group

A major HK F&B group uses our platform to send orders to their suppliers — local and cross-border — with supplier catalogs accessible directly from the POS.

Storefront side

Diner

Our POS handles diner-to-restaurant acceptance, integrated with the merchant's acquirer.

For F&B groups, that means one platform spans the entire operating flow — from sourcing to service to settlement — and inventory, costing, and supplier reordering happen inside the same software the staff already uses every day.

Unified reconciliation

One ledger, every channel.

Most F&B operators run a different system for each side of their business: one for online orders, another for in-store payments, another for supplier invoices, another for reporting. Every new channel means a new reconciliation headache.

We bring it all into one source of truth.

  • Online checkout and in-store POS in one ledger
  • Supplier payables reconciled alongside diner receipts, so cash flow is visible end-to-end
  • Multi-outlet, multi-brand consolidation in real time, without spreadsheet exports
  • One dashboard for sales, customer data, payouts, and chargebacks

Whichever acquirer powers the transaction, payment data flows into the same Synque ledger as everything else. No silo, no separate reporting tool, no reconciliation gap between channels.

ADYENNUVEI
Trusted by the backbone of Hong Kong F&B

Angliss Hong Kong Food Service
runs on our platform.

Established in 1946 and acquired by Bidcorp Group in 2007, Angliss is one of Asia's leading foodservice distributors and was named Hong Kong's “Best Food Supplier of the Year 2023.” Their network reaches over 8,000 foodservice customers across hotels, clubs, casual dining, pastry and confectionery, airline catering, and theme parks.

Every day, restaurants across Hong Kong place orders with Angliss through our platform. That puts us at a touchpoint inside HK F&B operations no other POS vendor has — a daily working relationship with one of the largest distributors in the region, and product exposure across thousands of the restaurants we'd want as POS customers next.

When we bring our POS to those operators, we're not a cold call. We're already in their kitchens.

Breadth

Beyond F&B: ticketing, CRM, and a connected merchant network.

The same platform powers a connected travel-and-merchant ecosystem in Hong Kong. A ferry operator sells tickets through our system. Passengers are captured in our CRM. When they arrive on the island, they use our app to redeem coupons at local merchants — and those merchants accept payments through us too.

One platform spans the journey end-to-end: ticket purchase, traveler engagement, destination spend. From multi-currency ticketing for tourists, to card and wallet acceptance at small island merchants who otherwise wouldn't be on a modern payment platform.

ADYENNUVEI
Integrations & trust

For payment and
platform partners.

Our POS runs deep, production-grade integrations with Adyen and Nuvei today, with Airwallex POS Payments integration in active development.

And we've done this kind of integration before. Adyen and Nuvei are live in production today — your engineering team isn't training ours.

For payment partners, that means more than just another POS integration. Through one partner — with the POS and order-management modules integrated at the product level — you gain access to:

1

Diner-to-restaurant acceptance through our POS, with unified online + in-store reconciliation, no separate data silo

2

Restaurant-to-supplier payables, often cross-border, through our order-management platform integrated directly into the POS — a natural fit for FX and payouts

3

Supplier-to-restaurant receivables via Angliss and other distributors using our platform

4

A connected merchant network linking ticketing operators to destination merchants we've already enabled — net-new merchant acquisition outside the reach of typical POS partnerships

Common questions

Frequently
asked.

How is this different from QR pay-at-table products like Qlub?

Those are overlays that sit on top of existing POS systems and run their own payment loop. Synque is the POS itself — pay-at-table, scan-to-order, digital menu, and payment links are all built natively into the same platform, sharing inventory, supplier data, customer profiles, and one ledger. No bolt-ons, no separate payment flows to reconcile.

How is your /shop different from other online ordering or e-commerce tools restaurants use?

Most online ordering products — whether QR menu overlays or standalone storefront builders — sit outside the restaurant's POS and supplier systems. They generate orders that have to be reconciled separately, with inventory tracked in a different tool and customer data that doesn't reach the POS. Our /shop is the same online ordering layer, but native to the platform — sharing inventory, supplier-driven menu costing, and customer profiles with the POS and order-management modules. One catalog, one customer record, one ledger. See /shop →

How is this different from other POS systems with inventory features?

Most POS systems track stock counts; ours connects directly to your suppliers. Recipe ingredients link to real supplier products, so menu costing reflects actual supplier prices, and reordering happens inside the POS rather than in a separate tool. The POS and the supplier order-management module share the same dataset — they're not two products with an integration layer between them.

Do you have your own POS hardware?

Yes — countertop terminals, handhelds, kitchen displays, receipt printers. The software also runs on standard iPads and Android tablets, so merchants aren't locked into our hardware.

How long have you been installing and supporting POS in Hong Kong?

We run an established field service operation in Hong Kong, handling on-site installation, hotline support, and ongoing maintenance for merchants across the city. The same team that has supported HK POS deployments for years now backs every install on our modern platform. See our support operations →

Which payment providers does your POS support?

Adyen and Nuvei are integrated in production today.

Which local Hong Kong payment methods are supported?

Through our acquirer partners — Octopus, FPS, PayMe, AlipayHK, WeChat Pay HK, plus all major cards and international wallets. Specific method coverage depends on the acquirer.

Can we use just one module?

Yes. Modules are independent.

What languages does the POS support?

Traditional Chinese and English across merchant interface, customer-facing screens, and printed receipts.

Where are you based?

Hong Kong. On-site POS installation, WhatsApp and hotline support, Cantonese-speaking team.
